We are J.R. and Ali Richards, the husband and wife team behind Wander Media, a small, independent production company with a global vision and reach. We specialize in documentary style television, internet, and film series about travel, food, outdoor adventure, and nature. Wander Media is the parent company and starting point to our various series, projects, and alter-egos. Our network of collaborators and clients include some of the leading figures in the worlds of production and cinematography, winemaking, craft brewing, cooking, distilling, writing, science, and conservation. We are devoted travelers and are almost always on the go, exploring new places, meeting new people, and capturing imagery that celebrates the beauty of the world around us. Our focus in every project is “the story”, and we are fanatical about our musical selections. We take full advantage of the digital revolution and shoot as simply and intimately as possible. We feel this is the essence of modern visual storytelling: lightweight, natural, and high-quality. In addition to our core focus of original travel and nature television series, we offer high quality video production for a wide range of clients.
